Hybrid Solar Inverters — HE200 & HE300 Series
One line: Hybrid inverters that run off-grid, grid-connected or in mixed mode — including battery-free operation and dual AC output by load priority. 1.2 kW to 11 kW per unit, up to 99 kW paralleled.

Model range
Every figure below is taken from the manufacturer's specification sheets. Where the model number digit differs from the actual rated output, the rated output column is the one that matters.
| Model | Rated output | Battery voltage | Max PV input | Protection | Net weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| HE200-3000-O-I5 | 2000 W | 12 V | 3000 W | IP54 | 6.5 kg |
| HE200-4200-T | 3600 W | 24 V | 5000 W | IP21 | 6.5 kg |
| HE200-4200-T-I5 | 3600 W | 24 V | 5000 W | IP54 | 8.65 kg |
| HE200-6500-T | 5500 W | 24 V | 9000 W | IP21 | 8.6 kg |
| HE200-7200-F | 6200 W | 48 V | 9000 W | IP21 | 8.2 kg |
| HE200-7200-F-I5 | 6200 W | 48 V | 9000 W | IP54 | 11.7 kg |
| HE200-12000-F | 12000 W | 48 V | 2 × 7500 W | IP21 | 15.15 kg |
| HE300-7200-F | 6200 W | 48 V | 8500 W | IP21 | 9.7 kg |
| HE300-12000-F | 11000 W | 48 V | 2 × 7500 W | IP21 | 21 kg |
| HE300-12000-F-I5 | 11000 W | 48 V | 2 × 7500 W | IP54 | 22.9 kg |
| HE200-7200-FP | 58500 W (9 units) | 48 V | 9000 W / string | IP21 | 8.7 kg |
| HE300-7200-FP-I5 | 55800 W (9 units) | 48 V | 8500 W / unit | IP54 | 14.75 kg |
| HE300-12000-FP | 99000 W (9 units) | 48 V | 7500 W / string | IP21 | 21.3 kg |
Read the number carefully. A 7200 model is a 6200 W machine; a 12000 gets you 12000 W on HE200 but 11000 W on HE300. See the model number decoder for the full mapping.
What "hybrid" means here
These units can operate in three modes and switch between them:
- Off-grid — supplies the load from battery and PV, with no grid connection.
- Grid-connected — draws from the grid, with anti-reverse-flow protection in mixed mode.
- Hybrid / mixed — combines grid, PV and battery, prioritising the sources by configuration.
Output is a pure sine wave, so inductive loads (motors, pumps, compressors) start without the buzzing and heating that modified-sine units cause.
Core features
Battery-free operation. A hybrid model can run with PV and grid only, with no battery connected. Buyers can start without the cost of a battery bank and add storage later without replacing the inverter.
Dual AC output by priority. From the HE200-6500-T upward, models use an L1+N1+L2+N2+PE topology — a main output and a secondary output. Wire critical loads to the main output and non-critical loads to the secondary. When battery charge runs low, the unit drops the secondary output to extend runtime on the main output. This is the feature contractors value most on backup projects.
Parallel expansion. Models with an FP suffix parallel up to 9 units, delivering either 415 Vac three-phase or single-phase expansion — 58.5 kW on HE200-7200-FP, 99 kW on HE300-12000-FP.
IP54 variants. Models with the I5 suffix use a sealed enclosure rated IP54 for outdoor installation. Note that these are separate models: an IP54 certificate or specification does not carry over from the IP21 version.
BMS communication. CAN and RS485 ports connect to lithium battery BMS units from Pylontech, Growatt, SRNE, Deye, Voltronic and others. Where communication fails, the unit can be set to manual charge/discharge voltages.
Monitoring. Wi-Fi module plugs into the COM port; the app and cloud platform show generation data, faults and support OTA updates.

Single-phase output range
All listed hybrid models provide 230/240 Vac single-phase output at 50/60 Hz, with an input range of 90–280 Vac. Parallel models can additionally provide 415 Vac three-phase output.
Which model for which job
