GB 4943.1-2022 Safety Testing

One line: Two safety test reports from two laboratories, covering 32 distinct models combined — a safety evidence file, not a market-access certification.

The GB 4943.1-2022 reports name main test articles; series coverage is shown on each report.

Combined, the two reports cover 32 distinct models (23 ∪ 25, with an overlap of 16).

What the standard is

GB 4943.1-2022 — Audio/video, information and communication technology equipment — Part 1: Safety requirements. It is a Chinese national standard, aligned in scope with IEC 62368-1.

This distinction matters in commercial use. A GB 4943.1 report evidences that the product passed safety testing to a Chinese standard. It is not:

The accurate way to describe it is "passed GB 4943.1-2022 safety testing". Describing it as "CE certified" would be incorrect.

Main test articleHE300-12000-F
Declared input220 V, 26.9 A, 6200 W
Certificate fieldsApplicant and manufacturer name the same party — consistent
Sample received / completed2026-07-06 / 2026-07-10
Test environment20–25 °C, 45–65% RH
ResultAll tested items met the requirements

Product classification (from the report): the product charges a battery from PV and supplies power from utility, battery and PV in a coordinated way, combining grid feed-in with off-grid inverter output. Construction: metal enclosure, transformer, main board, display. Category: end product; user: ordinary persons; power connection: AC and DC; supply tolerance +10% / −10%; Type A pluggable; protective device rating 16 A; stationary equipment; overvoltage category OVC II; pollution degree PD2; enclosure rating IP21; distribution system TN; operating altitude ≤ 2000 m; equipment weight 19.95 kg.

Models covered by each report

RKEYS250917157 covers the 23 models also seen in the FCC and RoHS files (HE200 series, HE300-12000-F variants, HE500 series).

BDL260706S002 covers 25 models, and is the file that brings several previously uncovered models into the safety-tested set:

ModelSafety coverage
HE200-3000-O-I5Covered by BDL260706S002
HE300-4200-TCovered by BDL260706S002
HE300-7200-FCovered by BDL260706S002
HE300-7200-FP · FP-I5Covered by BDL260706S002
HE310-5000-FCovered by BDL260706S002
What these models still lack. Safety testing is not market access. HE200-3000-O-I5, HE300-4200-T and HE300-7200-F still hold no CE, FCC or RoHS file. Safety evidence and export-market approvals are different requirements — see the full certification list.

Series coverage, stated plainly

Both reports follow the series-approval approach: the main test article is individually tested, and the remaining models are declared to share the same circuit principle, safety structure and critical components, differing only in model naming for different customers and sales regions.

Practical consequence: commissioned testing is responsible for the submitted sample. Series models are covered by declaration. If a buyer needs to know whether a specific model was individually tested, the answer is that it was series-covered unless it is the main test article. We state that rather than implying each model was individually tested.

Reporting both sets correctly

Sending the wrong report for the model in question is a common error. Match the model, not the general topic.
